In late autumn and winter, drive north from Seaside Lodge to Donna Nook National Nature Reserve, covering more than 10 km of coastline, to see an annual wildlife spectacle.
Most of the year, the grey seals at the Donna Nook National Nature Reserve are out at sea or on distant sandbanks. But, every November and December, the seals give birth to their pups near the sand dunes: a wildlife spectacle which attracts visitors from across the UK – and one that’s well worth seeing. The viewing area at Donna Nook is open from late October to December. Bring a camera!
